The October issue of our newsletter includes a reminder for authors to update their user accounts. It’s in your best interest if you want to be paid all the royalties you’re entitled to.
Help us to help you!
Our team hopes you’ll get into the habit of keeping your account up to date. With just a few clicks, you’ll make it much easier to distribute your royalties and you’ll improve your working conditions.
In the coming weeks, we’ll be sending out the Education sector royalty payment. It’s a major undertaking for our team and the sector, requiring everyone’s cooperation.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the teaching professionals at the various levels who take the time to report their use of copyrighted content throughout the year. Your efforts have a big impact on local creators.
We’re pleased to welcome Benjamin Turgeon and Madeline Trespaille-Guemache as permanent employees at Copibec. The role of these two new colleagues is to provide support to our clientele at the preschool, elementary and high school levels and in adult education and vocational training centres.
Copibec on the road
We are taking part in the training day of the Association pour la promotion des services documentaires scolaires (APSDS) which will be held in Trois-Rivières on October 20th.
We will present the SAMUEL and DONA platforms to the participating librarians and documentation technicians.
