Copibec's repertoire contains millions of publications. When you are a licensee, you can reproduce and share this content within your organisation.
A worldwide directory
Thanks to its participation in the International Federation of Reproduction Rights Organisations (IFRRO), Copibec has privileged access to numerous management societies and copyright organisations around the world.
Under the terms of the agreements signed with them, the Society manages, in addition to the rights of Quebec publications, the rights of works in a broader repertoire.
A Copibec licence allows you to reproduce excerpts from documents (books, newspapers, periodicals, etc.) from anywhere in the world.

Publications excluded from the directory
Some categories of publications are excluded from the Directory.
Check that the works you wish to use are covered by your reproduction licence. If a title, publisher or category of publication is on the exclusion list, you must obtain permission from the publisher to use the publication.
The title you want to use is not on the exclusion list? That's fine! You can use it under the terms of your licence.

Obtaining and using documents
Copibec, in collaboration with the Copyright Clearance Center (CCC), offers Quebec users the possibility to reproduce content obtained through the RightFind service within the framework of its licences. This service gives you access to more than 140 million citations and over 3 million articles.
