Our digital platform dedicated to students with perceptual disabilities has grown since its launch in 2021.

DONA offers notebooks, manuals and novels in accessible PDF formats, compatible with speech recognition software such as WordQ and Lexibar.

A clear need

The school environment needs such a platform. Last year, the number of requests and the number of students benefiting from the service soared: 6,370 orders were recorded (an increase of 24%) for a total of 48,532 books distributed to students (an increase of 42%).

Hitting the 2,000 mark

Titles are being added to DONA on a regular basis. Only two years after its launch, it now offers more than 2,000 titles.

Most of the titles are works used in Quebec schools and are often requested by users, speech therapists, resource teachers and other teaching professionals.

ERPI

With the addition of ERPI in June 2023, we welcome a 3rd major educational publisher, whose 150 titles adapted for people with perceptual disabilities will enhance DONA.

ERPI joins La courte échelle, Bayard Canada, Presses de l'Université Laval, Édilignes, Fides, Éditions de l'Homme and Les Six Brumes on the platform.

Working cooperatively

Every title added has to be analyzed to ensure that it’s not already available somewhere in the platform. We work closely with the relevant publishers, who often have to adapt the material before it can be made available on the platform.
