Any good news from the AI Summit in Paris?


Investments in the billions, the signing of an agreement by 61 countries to promote open, inclusive and ethical AI. The United States and the United Kingdom are not among the signatories, but China, France, India, the European Union and the African Union Commission are. And what about copyright?

Justin Trudeau told the AI Summit that 鈥渁rtificial intelligence must be put at the heart and at the service of everyone鈥檚 interest, not just the oligarchs [...] we must encourage those who build it and artists聽鈥 the only mention, I was still hopeful 鈥 [...] find a balance and a responsible, regulated way of building it in partnership with them.鈥 To conclude, he quoted Mitterrand: 鈥淭here is always a future for those who think about the future.鈥
